Every dealer who looks at your car sees the car: the make and model, the mileage, the photos, how you described the condition and the county you are in. None of them see your name, your email, your phone number or your registration. Those go to exactly one dealership — the one whose offer you accept — and to nobody else, ever.
So asking what your car is worth does not turn into a fortnight of calls from people you never spoke to. If you take none of the offers, nobody has your number at all.
